Client ships original videotape of the athlete’s performance during competitions or games, video of skills or elements in the gym, the athlete’s bio information and digital photo to Shortkid Productions (women gymnasts also send floor exercise soundtrack). 

2Digital Master Creation

Shortkid Productions team provides an expert assessment of the client videotape and select the appropriate competition routines or game footage and developing skills, which are then digitally transferred to the professional editing software application. 

In our studio, a digital media file is assembled and edited together with a music selection that compliments the athlete’s style and presentation (with the exception of women’s floor exercise where the original soundtrack is used). After a final review, the edited composition is formatted and a digital master file is created.

3DVD Production

Shortkid Productions constructs a personalized DVD menu template with the athlete’s digital photo and bio information. The digital video master file and menu template are imported into the DVD authoring software application. Menu navigation and links to corresponding video segments are programmed. A defined number of DVD’s are created in accordance with the client work order.

4VHS Production

Shortkid Productions transfers the digital video master file to VHS tape and time code is assigned to all video segments. A printed copy of the VHS time code, corresponding to a VHS players display counter, is created for quick viewer access to any selected video segment.

Professionally labeled and packaged DVD/VHS copies are now ready for presentation to recruiting coaches. The DVD’s, VHS tapes, and original video are shipped to the client.
